@DMrKunst2 @CharlieSchmidt1 Getting everyone to watch at a certain time could be a good idea too, but we always have the risk that so few people do it that it actually puts Disney off as it shows the limited demand, which arguably the first rerelease did too. ?

@vladdie777 @DMrKunst2 Attached is the Wall Street Journal review of the new Shazam! movie. Quantumania got a B on Cinemascore & is heading to a lower box office than the original Ant-Man. Alita in a rerelease can compete quite well with the current batch of movies in theaters. #AlitaSequel

On Monday, @KirstenAcuna may have the first #AlitaSequel update from @jonlandau since he & @jimcameron spoke about wanting to make it while promoting Avatar 2. It would be nice to hear there has been some progress but we know how slow things can move with @Disney.

@spamdamnn @vladdie777 @Disney @JimCameron The movie barely made it into the black. And that is what Disney (the rights holders) would be look at. And yes, Cameron’s original script was 180 page+ that RR hacked down into something workable. Workable, not great. It was a far cry from what it would have been under Cameron.

@SCULLIBUND0 @vladdie777 @Disney @JimCameron Barely? You know the inner workings of Hollywood? And what are you basing @JimCameron would have done a better job on? Cameron handed #Alita off to @Rodriguez and he nailed it. It's the same shooting script that Cameron would have used, so I don't see how it would be different.
