.@Rodriguez deserves to direct the #AlitaSequel because #AlitaBattleAngel was a literal masterpiece. It’s a complete outrage if Disney thinks he isn’t up to it, there’s no one better suited and Cameron is far too busy. If this rumour is true, this is Iger finishing off Alita.

Plausible scenario, the flaw being that Cameron can turn round & flatly state 'I'm only doing Av3 then will do something else'.
